Dear Readers and visitors,

One good news that we need to share with you is on the promises of our Almighty and Loving God. He is a Sovereign God and yet had upheld every promise made since day one till today.

He is the God who loves each and every creation of His, particularly human beings, which were created out of His own image. God so loves the world that He send His only Son to redeem our sins.

From the above actions, they demonstrate well that God wants our passion for the supernatural part of Him that lives in us to grow to maturity for our good. Therefore, we must acknowledge His love and His best wishes for us. We can only reach His dream through our faith in Him, which serves as the bridge that will take us to the destiny. He destined those who believe in Him and even is ever willing to guide and coach us to achieve it, out of His grace provided you are willing to abide to Him. As such, it is crucial important to believe the promises of God - no matter how unbelievable they appear - and you will eventually see evidence of what before, you could only imagine. This is what the faith is all about.

Faith is just like any skill which you need to exercise in order to strengthen and sharpen it. The challenges that are faced in our lives are meant to strengthen us, a similar process you have to go through so as to be a skillful sailor, where he needs to encounter storms and other challenges to sharpen his skill. So, remember that whenever you are faced with challenges, please do not be afraid, but rely on Him and let Him guide you to overcome it, so that you could gain maturity. Be mindful that I can do everything through Christ who strengthen me. Phil 4:13.

Let us together pray in His wonderful name that He uphold us every moment of our lives. Amen.

HE HAS SET US FREE

We sometimes can not overcome old emotionsarising in new circumstances. If it is so, are we not raising doubt on Him? Bemindful, He has done everything to set us free from everything. Why let the oldbondage hold you back. Therefore, do not give in and let the circumstancestir up our emotion and control us instead. Do not underestimate this force. Toovercome it, we need to stay focus on Him and not let the surrounding eventsinfluence us. He knows much more and therefore reminded us numerous timesthrough numerous occasions where He reminded Apostle Peter.

Therefore, let us replay what we didacting on those negative emotions and remember not to repeat it in this samemanner. Be mindful that we are already free of all these so long as we trustHim wholeheartedly. If you have not, pray to Him and let Him convicts yourheart. Do come to Him and we need to let go. The only way is to seek the Lordand let His Word break the cycles. Think, pray and talk to the Utmost Highabout it. He is the ultimate and the best Counselor. He has ALL the answers andsolutions.

Walk by faith and not by sight is possiblethrough Him. Let Him leads our lives and be blessed with all the fruits offaithfulness. Nothing is impossible to Him as advocated "I can doeverything through Him who strengthen me" Philippians 4:13. There isnothing that can stop Him. When He opens the door, no one can close it.Similarly, when he closes the door, no one can open it.

God is so graceful to human beings and He even let His son, JesusChrist, to redeem all our sins when His son died on the Cross. He knows thatnone of us can do good by our own means as advocated in the Scripture. If wecan attain perfection through law, then Christ died on the Cross in vain.

Therefore, let us pray and thank to Him always. To walk with Him, we need tolisten to Him through our inner hearts, which we must ensure that we always stayconnected with Him through submission to Him always. As such, praying andspending quiet time with Him constantly so as to maintain intimate relationshipwith Him.

THANK GOD FOR SAVING MY MOTHER'S LIFE AGAIN

Very welcome to this Christian blog which givehonours to Him.

I write to share with you another testimony tohonour Him again for answering my and others' prayers for saving my mother'slife about a week ago.

This time, He has again answered my calls forletting my mother to be discharge from the hospital after her admission for ashort span of two days despite her being unconscious from an overnight sleep.Fortunately, my younger brother, who was staying with her in Penangat that time, noticed something amiss after he failed to wake her up numerous attempts. Immediately, he called the ambulance to take her to thehospital. They then discovered that her sugar content level of 1.7 was far toolow for a diabetic patient like her. As a result, most of her body turned numband stiff. Thank God for my brother's awareness at that critical moment.

Thereafter she finds it difficult andhesitates to stay with me or my other siblings in Kuala Lumpur as she does not have friendshere. At the same time, her present health situation does not warrant her tostay alone. As such, I have to rely on Him to convince her to change her mind,knowing her firm stand and belief of being independent. Thank God again forturning this nearly impossible thing to a reality with ease. That makesme cry out with joys in my heart.

My mum had scarified lots for us and I stillremembered how she told white lies to make me finish the "Big Pau", meatBun, she bought for me with the extra money we both earned from our daily lottery tickets sales during my teenage years. At the very firsttime I was so glad and finish off the whole "Pau" and accept her word on the surfacethat she had taken her portion, which was not really the case. I learned mymistake from the first very first time and start to think hard of a way tooutsmart her. Finally, I was successful in making up excuses to keep a portionfor her. At that time, I began to cultivate a thinking habit and creativemanner to leave a certain portion for her. Thank God for putting I in such awonderful situation to pick up all these good habits and best practices thatmake me achieved what I am today. I felt very blessed after this MIGHTY andLOVING God revealed to me one by one.

It took me nearly several decades to find Himexactly as recorded in the Scripture, You seek and you will find. I must admitmy life had ups and downs since I was born namely born under weight of only 4.4Lbs, always sick during my childhood, and etc. Now, Lord has revealed to methat all these had moulded me to be better and stronger. He also made merealise that the more I submit to Him, the more He will lead me and go throughthe setbacks without much pain. Now, I am so comfortable with Him and even letHim to use me as one of His vessels to spread His Word, which I could not doso, without Him. I believe and am convinced that I'm not doing this alone.

I really feel that He is the One who has set mefree and gives me the wisdom to do what I am doing. The peace, joys andhappiness I received are from Him and I feel so secured despite my age isincreasing. Yet the strength He has given me is so great that I feel veryenergised and tireless. I must say He is keeping and maintaining me well and Iam very grateful to Him. In short, He has convinced and convicted my heart tosubmit to Him and let Him lead me. Thank you Lord. I share all these with youbecause of Him whom made me realised the true meaning of the life He has givento me.

Here, I write to praise Him always and stayfocus on Him to complete my walk by faith and not by sight. The sweetness ofthe fruit I enjoyed all these while is from Him, which is far beyond words.As such I encourage you to join in the walk because I want you to taste itsfruit yourself.

THE UNDERLYING STORY BEHIND MY SIGNATURE

Very warm welcome to this uplifting blog,

Today, I decided to share with you some of the underlyingstories behind my signature, with the intention to furnish an effectivepractical solution to my life. This struck my mind last night while I waswaiting for my former superior, Madam Janet, and her husband, I thought ofputting my signature on the back of my name card before I handed to them, as amemorable souvenir for them. See the photo below and share with us what youcould see from it before I disclose its real story, and how it was created inthe first place.

Please do not scroll down to read its real story, but let yourimagination run a while. It is fun and you may have some pleasure from it.So, I appeal to you to share what you see from this signature. Thank you inadvance.

Perhaps some of you may use it to assist yourself to solvesome of your issues which you do not wish to tell anyone, like me in the past.This secret was kept in my heart for a few decades. Now, I chose to dootherwise for several reasons as mentioned follows:

1. It may serve an idea/inspiration to my new designer, introducedby one of my "Sifus" whom I have introduced to you in my precedingarticle, for my call card. The designer may think of a better way toreflect my identity and, character, with the intention that others may use itas a powerful tool to heal their hurts, I did. Some of you may be aware that Ireached maturity too early and was very independent at a very young age. Imissed most of my childhood life because I started to work on a part-time basiseven when I was at my primary school and many times I was hurt in manyways, in my studies, work, health and my social life was near to nothing.However, I was blessed with other talents such as Arts, Chess and Mathematics,that is the reason that made me to be an Artist at one time. I used tocover up my actual feelings occasionally, especially when I nearly could notbear it any longer. In order to escape from these hurts, one thing I did, aftermy discovery, was to draw a picture to put myself in a situation totallyopposite to the real situation I was in. This made me feel really good. As aresult, this signature was born to reflect my "DREAMED BEAUTIFULGARDEN" where I heard birds singing surrounded by beautiful full grownflowers and strong smell of their aroma. (from the beautiful Chinese poem Ipicked from.) It was so sweet and wonderful that I really felt on top ofthe world. I live in my own imagined world, which unknowingly build into myhabits from a very young age. This imagination power keeps me at peak andI was good at using my visualization to fan my desire and gainextra energy to work toward my goal to overwhelm all my hurts. At times, I justrefused to come out from it and ignored the events that happened around me. Youmay say that I was in a denial stage, which I will never say you arewrong. What I care more is that its impacts is so good and I never hurtanyone for doing so.

2. It may help people to overcome their unbearable hurts and as auseful alternative, especially in time of economic crisis like NOW. Thissolution may serve as a means to lift you up as its name suggests.

3. I hope others may share their ways on how they overcome theirhurts. As I always believe that we can make each other stronger and betterthrough sharing. One thing I noted the more I share with others, I tend toreceive more than give out. This may sound illogical to some of you. If it isthe case, then please read the link below:-

4. This is the way we used to reward our readers through thearticles we blogged. One way to get rid of my fear is to share my secrets outbecause it is not my way/habit. Secondly, in the past, I alwaysreceived negative advice and feedback yet I have so many unfulfilled BIGdreams. In order to preserve "harmony" in the environment, I have nochoice and chose not to say it out. But that again struck my mind that how could society benefitif everyone kept silent. Then how could we claim ourselves as responsiblepersons. Similarly, we are indirectly helping the depressed to stay inpower. As such, I decided to get rid of all my fears, one by one and steadfastwas my firm stand, so as to glorify the Mighty God, who has strengthened meto do all things possible.

HE HAS SAVED MY FAMILY AGAIN

HELLO, EVERYONE

I, like many others, during the long holidays of Hari Raya and OurNational day, took my family back to my hometown in Penang. Some of youespecially those who followed my other blogs may be aware that I had a reallyfruitful trip this time.

On the way from Penang back to Petaling Jaya, I almost hit thedivider of the North South Highway as I fell asleep. When I woke up at thatcritical moment, what I knew was that my vehicle was heading toward thedividers in between both sides of the highway. At that spark of themoment, my right hand was holding the steering of the vehicle. I was very calmat that moment, I was told to use my left hand to move slightly from the bottomof the steering toward my right side. As a result, the vehicle then swung fromthe divider and back to the lane it is supposed to be. Thank Lord again forpopping up to assist when I am in need, exactly proving the saying, " afriend in need is a friend indeed'.

As we used to say that God never blinks, He always watches us because Hecares and loves us. Like the above instance, He came to rescue and directed meto avoid the accident from happening. Why I am so sure of His assistance? Thisis because all the above events occurred within a spark of second and I was socalm that He is within me. When need arises, I let Him used me as Hisvessel to direct my vehicle from hitting the divider. I know for certain that Icould not do it if He did not come to our rescue. As such, I write thistestimony to glorify Him knowingly that all titles, glories and honours belongto Him.

The following morning after I returned from Penang, I went to meet upwith a few leaders from the African Navigator Group where they share theirexperience with us. When I share the above incident with them, they told methat my time is not up yet. That message instantly reminded me of my uncompletedtasks which was assigned by Him.

Furthermore during our discussion on that day, we were asked whywe choose to follow Christ. My immediate answer was out of love to thisquestion because He is the one who loves us first. He had done everything forus; He gives us life, salvation and word; He even redeemed our sins by abidingHis father's will to die on the cross. I can't think of anything that makes menot to love and follow Him.

I write to thank Him for everything He has done for me and will definitelylet Him use me as one of His vessels to do according to His will, and not mywill. I know that I could not repay Him for what He has done for me. To let Himuses me as vessel is nothing when compared to what He has done for me.

So praise and thank Lord should be written into our hearts deeply.

In today's discussion, I decided to let the photos take you through and speak for itself. Photo speaks a thousand words. Now, you can see for yourself that the clock has been installed to its former shine and rich historical building. Please give us your feedback in regard to its original clock, if you have any. Better still, if you could furnish us with a copy of its photo for our inclusion in this article so as to enrich it. By doing so, we somehow leave a legacy for the future generation to see and appreciate our good work here.

With its new facelift of paint, this remarkable building can stand proudly tall with its surrounding peers. I am sure that these buildings will attract lots of tourists, both local and foreign. This will generate another income stream for this state which had been long neglected.

As such, I urge all Penangites to work as a united force to promote this Island of the Orient, it had attained at my childhood's time. To start the ball rolling, I will chip in to do my part by constantly contributing articles to this effect.

VERY INSPIRING CALL FROM GOD

A call from GOD..

God : "Hello. Did you call me?"

Me : "Called you? No...who's this?"

God : This is GOD. I heard your prayers. So i thought we'll chat.

Me : I do pray. Just makes me feel good. Im actually busy now. I'm in the midst of something.

God : What are you busy at?

Me : Don't know. But i can't find free time. Life has become hectic. Its rush hour all the time.

God : Sure. Activity gets you busy. But productivity gets you results. Activity consumes time. Productivity frees it.

Me : I understand. But i still can't figure out. By the way, i was not expecting YOU to buzz me.

God : Well, i wanted to resolve your fight for time, by giving you some clarity. In this 21st century era, I wanted to reach you through the medium you are comfortable with.

Me : Tell me, why has life become complicated now?

God : Stop analyzing life. Just live it. Analysis is what makes it complicated.

Me : Why are we then constantly unhappy?

God : Your today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. You are worrying because you are analyzing.

Worrying has become your habit. That's why you are not happy.

Me : But how can we not worry when there is so much uncertainty

God : Uncertainty is inevitable, but worrying is optional

Me : But then, there is so much pain due to uncertainty

God : Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional

Me : If suffering is optional, why do good people always suffer

God : Diamond cannot be polished without friction, Gold cannot be purified without fire. Good people go through trials, but don't suffer. With that experience their lives become better, not bitter

Me : You mean to say such experience is useful

God : Yes. Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first and the lesson afterwards.

Me : But still why we go through such tests. Why can't we be free from problems

God : Problems are Purposeful Roadblocks Offering Beneficial Lessons (to) Enchance Mental Strength.

Inner strength comes from struggle and endurance, not when you are free from problems

Me : Frankly, in the midst of so many problems, we don't know where we are heading...

God : If you look outside you will not know where you are heading. Look inside. Looking outside, you dream. Looking inside, you awaken. Eyes provide sight. Heart provides insight.

Me : Sometimes, not succesing fast seems to hurt more than moving in the right direction. What should i do?

God : Success is a measure as decided by others. Satisfaction is a measure as decided by you. Knowing the road ahead is more satisfying than knowing you rode ahead. You work with the compass. Let others work with the clock.

Me : In tough time, how do you stay motivated

God : Always look at how far you have come rather than how far you have to go. Always count your blessing, not what you are missing

Me : What suprises you about people

God : When they suffer then ask, "Why me?" When they prosper, they never ask "why me?"

Everyone wishes to have the truth on his or her side, but few want to be on the side of the truth

Me : Sometimes i ask, who am i? Why am i here? I can't get the answer

God : Seek not to find who you are, but to determine who you want to be. Stop looking for a purpose as to why you are here. Create it. Life is not a process of discovery but a process of creation.

Me : How can i get the best out of life

God : Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear

Me : One last question. Sometimes i feel my prayers are not answered.

God : There are no unanswered prayers. At times, the answer is NO

Me : Thank you for your wonderful chat. I am so happy to start the New Day with a new sense of inspiration.

God : Well. Keep faith and drop the fear. Don't believe your doubts and doubt your beliefs. Life is a mystery to solve, not a problem to resolve. Trust me. Life is wonderful if you know how to live.

GOD NEVER BLINKS

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Today I am so excited to share the extremely good NEWS with you. This great news is of course nothing new to you, especially for those who chose to follow Him for long. Likewise, we always say that God never blinks. This is truth because He always stays in control. Whatsoever events happen surround us has a purpose and our task on earth is to believe in Him. By doing so, He will then be able to reveal to you, when you would think it not possible to know the truth. This is because of the sin inherited from the first man, Adam, that cause you to believe in youself and not God. As such, it is natural for us to cast doubts on Him.

Therefore, God is always watching over you, so never give up. We ought rather to stand firm in our faith, for great is your reward for believing in him. Always remember that God never gets tired of loving us that has been written in the Scripture. He shall never abandon any of us. He is Sovereign yet keeps every of His promises. However, He had also given us the freewill. As such, He can't force you to abide in Him despite He has all the power. Otherwise, He would destroy all human beings from the point when Eve and Adam sinned against Him. From the Scripture, we were told that man continues to sin against Him, yet He continuously forgives us.

Let us be honest to ourselves, at times when we are really down and the ones who care about us; ask us whether we are alright. The tendency for us to reply them that we are alright is very high, even though we are not.

If Lord were to ask you are you alright, even though He does not have to, because He knows your heart more than us and of course we wouldn't say "yeah, we are alright. This is because we cannot lie to the Lord. So, when the Lord were to ask you your situation, you do not have to break down in lies and say alright. Be mindful that it is alright to tell the Lord you are not alright. Nothing wrong and be honest to Him.

By telling Him the truth, He shall then reveal to us what we need to do, so as to be right with Him. Otherwise, sad to say that our own actions deny Him, and that cause us to stumble. This is because our own action can never add value to anything and everything that was created by Him. He is not insulted by our intelligence and don't forget that He is the One who give this to us. Because He is aware that our mind is limited and most often fail to see things from His perspective. As such, we can ONLY shine in the way according to His will.

So do not let these temporary events caused us to stumble. But do press on to be steadfast in our faith so as to make us strong in our faith to pursue something great and everlasting. God will wait for us to finish our racing lines.

Let us acknowledge the truth that God's eyes never blink. HE watches on us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is because He cares and loves us. That's why when you feel the pain and you are going to give up. He will be there for you. He will solve your problems so long as you abide in Him. As such, when you think that you can't talk to anyone about it, then talk to the Lord because he is a true friend and he cares and he will not let you suffer alone, as advocated in Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you be not dismayed, for I am your God I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Last but not least, believe He is the Mighty and Living God and of course stays in control of the universe every moment of your life. By doing so, His eyes never blink, not like us, he is watching us every moment as well. He doing so because He cares and loves us.

Trust Him and let Him be our true security,

As September 11 is approaching soon, many of us may recall the memorable day when the US was attacked by terrorists in her homeland where many thousands of innocent people were killed.

On the other hand, that day also reminded me of a great figure, Dato' Father A. Julien ( Feb 25, 1917 - Sept 11, 2004) who was called back to the Lord on Sept 11, 2004. See the photo yourself.

As such, this Sept 11, 2011 is coming to be his 7th anniversary. Thousands of people turned up during his funeral and many still remember him for life. I write about him, not because both of us have the same birthday or his Chinese name is the same as my Chinese sir name. But far more than these commonalities we both have. Please read further, you will then discover how he had impacted my life.

He had touched many thousands of peoples' heart especially the Chinese community in Malaysia, who did not believe then that he, a foreigner, would set up the Chinese school in foreigner's land. With the grace from the Lord, he was able to sustain and endure all the pains and discomfort during the period when he began to deliver his mission. Thank God that he eventually delivered his mission that turned so many peoples' heart from disbelief to belief. He then gained an honour and was well regarded as a highly respected figure by people from all walks of lives. For those who know him well, will not have a dispute about it. Please come forward to praise him that he so truly deserve.

I can't imagine what many of us would be if he had not built the Chinese school in this land. As such, we are indebted to him very much and wouldn't be able to repay him all of our lives. He had also touched our lives so much and not one of us will forget him. Though he had gone, his spirit remains. He will be remembered forever. It is my great pleasure to have a chance to write a small column in my blog so as to give him an honour he well deserved.

I recalled that he, in his life time, he will always stand by to extend his help to anyone in need. He knew that majority of the students are from poor families and he always gave us encouragement to do better in our lives. He always cultivate good values into our lives. I must say that his motivation and encouragement had really made me do the extra miles. I must thank him for my success, which would not have been achieved without his efforts. He is one of the great people who really had a great impact on my life.

With this in mind, I know there is no way I can pay him back whatsoever he had done for me. At least, I will follow his footstep to give back to the society what I have been benefiting from. The articles which I share with you from day one is also the way I had learnt from him. By doing so, I, at least feel much better by playing my small part to uplift others who may need it. This is another way for me not to put his efforts and actions into waste.

Last but not least, I hope more people will step forward and follow his footsteps to leave a resounding good legacy behind, exactly like what he had done for many of us.

Thanks and together we will make a better tomorrow for the human beings in this planet. His departure is a great loss to Malaysia as a whole, particularly Penang where he had built several schools there.

Though he is gone, his spirit is still with us forever. Thousands of people still remember him despite he had left this planet more than 6 years ago. Our school even built a statue to remember him. No doubt all these things cannot match his contribution to our society as a whole.

His humble personality and smiling face always enlighten us. I must say that He is a man of great honour, who never expect any reward for his good work. By doing so, he gain substantial respect from anyone who had dealt with him one way or the other.

For students, I hope that this article will in some way encourage you to be better persons.

As some of you may be well aware that I am always so excited to share with you what I'm doing on the web.

First of all, I must say that my life is not my own, but it belongs to God, who has created me in the first palce. After my soul seeking journey, I am, just like some of you here, I write to share with you how to take your life's Mission for Christ and spread it like wildfire across the internet. To me, this is the right way to thank and glorify Him, and not me.

As reported in my preceeding articles, my life changed dramatically when I accepted Him. Since then, He has shaped me to be stronger and healthier to overcome whatsoever challenges in the future. I must admit that He never abandon me no matter what situation I am in. At times, it is my choice of not trusting Him that caused me to stumble. After numerous revelations, I discovered my true self and begin to draw His grace to do whatsoever I need to stay right with Him. I realised he truth of His words and put them in practice in my daily life. The more I submit to Him, the more I realise that I am able to accomplish more with less. At the end of the day, I still have so much energy. That's means He worked and it was not my work. This is a miracle and seems illogical to us. Yet it is the truth. In short, this is just a suspension of natural law, but the operation of higher law- Divine Law, so to speak. This is in line with his advocate that we by our means can not add any value to anything, but relying on His grace will make all things possible. He does not insult us, but due to our limited knowledge we are ocasionally blind to the truth.

He made us conquerers so long as we commit to Him wholeheartedly with our minds and souls. We will then achieve so much more in our life, do you agree?

As such, let us stay united through Him and let Him guides us to make our mission a reality so as to glorify Him and not us. Let His mission shines through the message of Christ and let us be used by Him as His vessels to do His will at the end of the day.

Life is not about finding the right person, but creating the right relationship, it's not how we care in the beginning, but how much we care till the very end.

Some people always throw stones in your path. It depends on what you make with them. A Wall or a Bridge? - Remember you are the architect of your life.

Search for a beautiful heart, but don't search for a beautiful face. Coz beautiful things are not always good, but good things are always beautiful.

It’s not important to hold all the good cards in life. But it’s important how well you play with the cards you hold.

Often when we lose all hope & think this is the end, God smiles from above and says, 'relax dear it’s just a bend, not the end.' - Have faith and have a successful life.

SOUL SEARCHING JOURNEY

HI EVERYONE,

It is a common mistake that we need to spend so much of time focused on building relationships with other people in order to achieve Success. What is the most important relationship of all, which is always more than often neglect is the relationship with our own self.

At this point you might ask yourself, what am I talking about? Though I'm with myself 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, however, I know very little about my own self until I have been transformed by my own soul searching journey couple of years ago.

Prior to this, I must admit that I am just like majority of people who are so worked up in their own lives that they've forgotten who they truly are. When someone asks me to introduce myself, I normally respond by telling him what I do or where I live? These are certainly important aspects of my life, but do not truly reflect me.

I often identify myself with my roles or my career that I often lose track of myself. I do not know whether you have discovered your true self or not? At that time I forgot who I wanted to be, what I truly dreamt of becoming, what I love and value. In effect, I've forgotten my "self." You may be wondering what "self" we're referring to here.

I have buried my authentic self so as to please other people, or to look good AND to be socially acceptable. To me, the effort to maintain this image not only requires too much energy, yet it is both draining and self-defeating. It took me lots of courage and time to step free of the scripted life I've been living and embark on my journey to search for who I am really in the depth of my being. I slowly peel away everything that is not essential and discover my authentic identity. I reclaimed the person the Creator truly wants of me and I find the journey very fulfilling and truly free. With the help from God that I am being transformed and rediscovered my true self. Without believing in God, I would not be able to do it by my own ability.

I remember what's most important in my life - I live for a specific purpose and love to live a meaningful life. Remember my hopes and dreams. Discover or rediscover my deepest yearnings. in order to do this, I embarked on a psychological search-and-rescue mission or soul searching journey to comb back through my life and recover my joy, wisdom, passion, enthusiasm, self-confidence, vitality - the threads of my true self that I had lost along the way.

I took my courage, commitment and perseverance to craft the life I love, most of which I have now. I share this with you with the objective that you too will make the call now to be your authentic self. I am now persistently connecting with my authentic self and reclaiming my true joys and passions that made me able to share with you all these while.

Since then I never regret and am able to do and achieve much more with less. That's something I would never have thought off and contradicted my initial belief. I also realise that I am able to do something what I would never have thought I could do. Amazingly awesome.

Folks, what I share now are something real and deeply inside me that would not be revealed unless the person is being transformed.

Called ME. You said, "Our Father who art in Heaven" Well, here I am.. What's on your mind?

But I didn't mean anything by it. I was, you know, just saying my prayers for the day. I always say the Lord's Prayer. It makes me feel good, kind of like fulfilling a duty. Well, all right.

Go on.

Okay, Hallowed be thy name .

Hold it right there. What do you mean by that?

By what?

By "Hallowed be thy name"?

It means, it means . . good grief, I don't know what it means. How in the world should I know? It's just a part of the prayer.
By the way, what does it mean?

It means honored, holy, wonderful.

I haven't thought about it very much until now, but I really would like to cut out some of those things. I would like to, you know, be really free.

Look, Lord, if you don't mind, I need to finish up here. This is taking a lot longer than it usually does. Give us this day, our daily bread.

You need to cut out the bread.. You're overweight as it is.

Hey, wait a minute! What is this? Here I was doing my religious duty, and all of a sudden you break in and remind me of all my hang-ups.

Praying is a dangerous thing. You just might get what you ask for. Remember, you called ME -- and here I am. It's too late to stop now. Keep praying. ( pause ... . ) Well, go on.

Yes, but I'll feel better as soon as I get even with her. Boy, have I got some plans for her. She'll wish she had never been born.

No, you won't feel any better. You'll feel worse. Revenge isn't sweet. You know how unhappy you are -- Well, I can change that.

Forgive Ann. Then, I'll forgive you; And the hate and the sin, will be Ann's problem -- not yours. You will have settled the problem as far as you are concerned.

Happy day,
Someone has written these beautiful words, which reached me. I suggest you too read and try to understand
the deep meaning of it.

They are like the ten commandments to follow in life all the time.

1] Prayer is not a "spare wheel" that you pull out when in trouble, but it is a "steering wheel" that directs the right path throughout.

2] So why a Car's WINDSHIELD is so large & the Rear view Mirror is so small? Because our PAST is not as important as our FUTURE. So, Look Ahead and Move on.

3] Friendship is like a BOOK. It takes few seconds to burn, but it takes years to write.

4] All things in life are temporary. If going well, enjoy it, they will not last forever. If going wrong, don't worry, they can't last long either.

5] Old Friends are Gold! New Friends are Diamond! If you get a Diamond, don't forget the Gold! Because to hold a Diamond, you always need a Base of Gold!

6] Often when we lose hope and think this is the end, GOD smiles from above and says, "Relax, sweetheart, it's just a bend, not the end!

7] When GOD solves your problems, you have faith in HIS abilities; when GOD doesn't solve your problems, HE has faith in your abilities.

Q & A portion:

James: When did you begin to write?

CL : I started writing in my teenage years, which was an outgrowth of my love of reading. But also being lazy, I would come up with a concept, write various scenes, and then give up because it just seemed that writing was such hard work. Then one day, I sat down and put the full story together and found out I was right. Writing is hard work, but I love it which makes it much easier to deal with.

James : What make you to think of publishing a book to share with others and at the same time encourage others to share their faiths? So far what is your worst criticism/attacks, and how you overcome it?

CL: Well I really don't think it was my idea. The Holy Spirit just kept bugging me. Being a Christian I decided I should listen and started getting serious about writing. I began to see it as my ministry and made it my goal to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in an entertaining way. Jesus commanded His followers to share the Gospel, but He also created us to have different talents to get it done. Some are gifted as mighty speakers, some do wonderful good works and others write fiction stories. There’s no size fits all in sharing Gospel, you just have to ask God to show you what He created you to do.

My worst criticism came when I completed my first (unpublished) novel which is not part of The Reboot Files Series. Someone proofed it for me and gave me some scathing criticism about how bad the book was and that maybe writing was not my calling. The person was right in the critical points, but it shook my certainty that this was what the Lord had called me to do. Finally, after much prayer, and I admit a few tears, I revisited the novel and did a rewrite keeping the critical points the person had made in mind. It did help the story, but also convinced me to change from the novel to the novella length which is how I structured The Reboot Files because I just seem to write "short" better.

James: How you come up with title of your books?

CL: I came up with The Reboot Files for the series name because that is what is happening to my main characters Irene Waters and Troy Stenson. Their lives are literally being rebooted by God in a totally different direction than they were planning.

The first book I knew I wanted to give the supposed haunted house a name. After considering and discarding several ideas I settled on a berry name of some sort, but I didn't want it to sound like a child's dollhouse. I liked Huckleberry but it reminded me of a cartoon character, again too cutesy. So I got out a Thesaurus and found the Old English word of Whortleberry, but Whortleberry House didn't sound right. Then I found the alternate word of Hurtleberry which I thought sounded good with House. Since this is a mystery series I called it the Mystery of Hurtleberry House.

The Island of Living Trees is homage to my sister who loves the cheesy horror films that we used to watch on the TV afternoon matinee shows when we were kids. There is a particularly bad one were the premise involves a guy being killed and coming back as a murderous tree to take his revenge on those who wronged him. Believe it or not, it’s worse than it sounds. Now my book has little to do with this movie, really I promise, but the walking tree thing gave me the idea of having a legend of trees walking around an island and turning people into trees. So it became The Island of Living Trees.

James: Can you enlighten us a little more about your books?

CL: It all involves the turn in the fortunes of Irene Waters, a once up and coming Christian television reporter who got involved in a scandal with a married man. Although how she got involved she has no idea as she barely knew the man. This bogus scandal is threatening to ruin her life and career, and has all left her questioning her trust in God. Her employment options being limited she ends up at Reboot, a television station that can only kindly be described as slightly above cable access. She’s teamed with Troy Stenson a talented but reckless cameraman with credibility issues of his own. They are assigned to a cheesy paranormal investigation show called Irene’s Eerie Adventures. Each book will involve a different mystery with a bit of urban legend thrown in. Irene will strengthen her relationship with God and discover that He had a plan all along, although convincing Troy is going to be a bit of work. More humor and fun than chills and thrills.

James: Is there anything else you would like your readers to pay special attention in regards to your book, which you have not mentioned above?

CL: Although Irene and Troy’s adventures are the main focus, there is also the subplot involving The Records Department. This shadowy organization may, or may not, be up to no good. They will not appear in every book in the series, but their manipulations will be felt. Also keep your eye on Bernie Youngman, Reboot's owner as there is definitely more to him than meets the eye.

James: When do you plan to publish your book 2, if applicable.

CL: Book number 3 is called The Harbinger of Retribution (great title huh?). It continues the series with Irene and Troy getting involved in a cursed statue story. I'll be bringing it out in November of 2011.

James : How many volume of books for the above series ?

CL: Well I mapped it out to be seven books, but then I came up with more ideas. Right now I have ten in mind, but that could change. Don't worry, remember they're short books.

James: Tell us your guided principle that governs your life? How you cultivate these values?

CL: Definitely the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Living my life the way He intended and believing in the salvation His Son died to give me. I read the Bible often, go to a Bible teaching church and listen to the smartest person God put in my life, my mother.

A very warm welcome, ALEJA and thanks ALEJA for giving us the chance to get to know you more and also for allowing us a glimpse of the world that you have created inside your writing. ABOUT THE AUTHOR - ALEJA BENNETT

Aleja Bennett was adopted in the early seventies after being abandoned and left in an apartment alone with her older siblings. The Author was only six months old and suffered with pnuemonia shortly after that.

Aleja Bennett was adopted at the age of two years by a woman who was barren. The couple abused, starved, tortured, rejected and neglected Aleja until they threw her to the cold streets at the age of nineteen.

Aleja would not have an abortion as her adopted parent's suggested so she was tossed out to the lonely cold dark streets with no money, clothes, coat or food.

She gave birth to Jessica June 30th 1992 and married in 1994 to a drug addict who stole and robbed her soul just as her adopted parents did. She looked for love in all the wrong places while alcohol absorbed all of the pain she kept a secret.

Aleja did seek help from the grandmother Of Jessica and she then manipulated and kept Jessica away from her mother after all Aleja had was her children.

The other two children are with a drug addict Aunt which is the ex husbands sister. Aleja has one in her life and Jessica has two books while her mother Aleja Bennett has eight in total.

They both write to share their pain, strength, struggle and hope to the nation.

James: Perhaps you may share with us your feeling when you first meet up your daughter at your first reunion.

Aleja : I was very excited, happy and over joyed and had already cried on the long bus ride to her college in Wisconsin.

James: When did you begin to write?

Aleja : At the age of 25 while walking into my first A.A. meeting they gave me a key chain and it printed the words being alive which was my very first poem written

James : What make you to think of publishing a book to share with others ? So far what is your worst criticism/ attacks and how you overcome it.

Aleja: Over coming and surviving being an unwanted adopted child. Having the courage to remain standing through all the turmoil living with this strange family. No criticism attacks yet so I guess that is a plus for me.

James: Where do you get the courage to do so?

Aleja: Only God because the flesh is so weak and wanted to give up so many times but he kept whispering Aleja I love you and you will rise above this abuse and help others with your writing and singing.

James: Can you enlighten us a little more about your books?

Aleja: I have eight books in total and they are a variety of poetry, love, strength, self help, spirituality, romance, passion, struggle, triumph, courage, bravery, empowerment, recovery and all that life may throw our way. I have written books that go in to my abuse and how I have survived it. It took a strong will to live, forgive, love and be loved.

James: Is there anything else you would like your readers to pay special attention in regards to your book, which you have not mentioned above?

Aleja: My books are suitable for all ages except some of the love poems that would be more appropriate for older adults, couples and married partners. I write to heal a hurting nation from all the chaos that goes on from childhood. A child is suppose to be taken care of but often they are abused and take off living a life that can be harmful to them. My books can put a stop to the hopeless, powerless, addict, alcoholic and the depressed.

James: When do you plan to publish your book 2.

Aleja: All 8 books are published

James : How many volume of books for the above series, if applicable ?

Aleja: 2 series for All I Can Do Is Stand and the other six are inspirational poems

James: Tell us your guided principle that governs your life? How you cultivate these values?

Aleja: God governs my life because without him there would be no Aleja, love, forgiveness and healing also governs my life. I cultivate them in my books, groups, singing and also to my daughter

James: Any other advice which you like to share with our readers ?

TIME TO REFLECT

Very happy day to you,

Technology makes life much better, if we use it appropriately. It makes sending Ecard just at a click of your finger. How you usually response if you receive Ecard from someone from far distance? Tell us your immediate reaction. As you know, I always love to hear from you.

My immediate response is to see who send me the greeting/card. Then, I will read its message. I will find its meaning and remember and apply it in my life so that I can understand what it is truly means. Here, you may see how Confucius have a great impact in my life. One of his famous sayings, I see I forget, I read I forget, I do I understand. Thereafter I always put it into practice. To me, it will then add value so that I can truly benefit from it.

Some of you may wonder why I keep on trying all the above. This is because lately I received the above meaningful and lovely Ecard, from one of my social network buddy friends who is from a distant land. I must say that I love this card very much and replied him with a Big thanks. It serves as a healthy reminder to me and it is also part of my habit to constantly take time to reflect. To me, reviewing is an healthy exercise for me to plan forward. If not, how can I learn although some of you may have different ways of learning. Hope you can open up and share with us here by putting forward your feedback on the comments provided below.

Besides thanking him, I also promised him a short reply. After giving it a deep thought, it gives me an idea to write a post. Below I will try to share with you why I do so, that's how I make constructive assessment, how I plan to take it further and what changes I need to make, what strategy I need to use and how to make use of the available resources to optimise my yield. Caution must be taken so that you don't let the past hold you back and let yourself sink in the bitterness. Here, I also love to learn how you make good use of it. Thank you.

As you know, I used to share some of my experienece which may help someone, who like me live in the darkest moments, but was saved from the books I read and the people I associated with. And now, I think it is appropriate for me to the same, as a way to return back those benefits I have been receiving all this while.

One important point I need to stress here is that I find this technique extremely useful and wanted you to see its relevance in our life. I must admit that I benefited from a lot from it and it has helped me achieve what I am today.

-why I say so

Some of you may wonder why I say so. Those who know my background will know that I was living in a life full of scarcity. This environment has helped to mould me to seek better ways and means to improve it further. As such, I view this process of time to reflect extremely important to me and I have been benefiting from it so much. That's the reason I am still occasionally occupied with it until today. As my life goes on, I discovered that I have so many interests and dreams to accomplish. I never wanted to let go of any of them and decided to take it one at a time. One thing I noted that I am very blessed with and always have the energy to sustain and maintain my strong desire to excel in the field I am involved. This is the way that has helped me to be more observant and lead me to discover additional technique from time to time that is required to build the edge I need to make more meaningful things happened in my life. Thank God for making me enjoy the walk of my journey to take up the new challenges.

- that's how I make constructive assessment (Benchmarking)

And I also realized that success is a journey and I need to do an assessment of my achievement constantly. This is to ensure that my monitoring of my progress and ensure that it is on the right track and progress toward my desired end. As far as I am concern, I am more inclined to be achievement base. I tend to compare what I can do now compared to myself previously in all aspects, be it financial, skill, expertise and spiritual resources. I hate to compare myself to others, which I feel is an insult to myself if I were to do so. This healthy comparison save me time and prevents me from indulging into other unhealthy activities.

- how I plan to take it further

From the feedback of my above assessment, I will then plan out my next course of action. This process will continue until I achieved my desired result before I take up my other dream and interest. Please share with me how you cope up with your challenges and I love to learn from you too. From time to time, I will continue to make such an assessment, when I deem fit. At times, I even make some changes, if appropriate when it fits well to that situation. Here, I can say that I have a plan, which allows some flexibility.

- what strategy I need to use

At times, I am not only make some changes, but I also change my existing strategy, when I deemed it appropriate. One crucial point I need to caution you is that no strategy will be obsolete, but the question is whether it applies at the right timing or not. If you don't agree, please do voice out your rationales. A good strategy is when it bears fruit and it is so much better when you apply it at the right time and circumstances. To gauge the right timing, you need the appropriate resources to do so and not based on luck. In this connection, I hope you do know what I mean here. Please forward your question if you have any query.

- how to make full use of the available resources to optimise my yield.

And last, but not least I will then think of accelerating its process to obtain its maximum benefit. From my past experience, I noticed that in order for me to do so, I need to leverage on others. In short, you can see the contrasting differences between a pipe builder and a bucket carrier. In this context, I would like to say I normally use the strength of others to compliment my weakness so as to achieve more for all of us that involved in that process ( mutual benefits). In this aspect, there are four main areas that we can focus into, namely resources in term of time and energy, ideas, contacts, and expertise. No one will have all and never forget that each of us is unique in its own way. You have your talents, skills, expertise where no other people will be exactly the same as you. Every one of us can excel in our own fields according to our original design that we need to know of. Believe me or not - if we pool all our resources, the success rate is definitely very high and can be assured if we don't give up. The more we will get and this is the original design the Creator has created for us in the first place. There is a saying nothing is impossible if we work together.

I share with you, with the intention to deliver my message, TO INSPIRE AND GET INSPIRED, so as to fan up our desire or inner energy for me to accomplish more, so as to lift all of us up. As our commitment to you is to reward you and to make a better life you need to put all these into practice. Never give up and try to condition yourself by continuously staying tuned, even if you have made it. I do encourage you to do so, so as to fan up your inner flame to be a difference maker and continuously have an extra edge to make a better world for everyone to stay.

Here, I wanted to let you know that I never regret for putting up several blogs to share what I have learnt from those who sacrificed to save us. Lately, I am wondering how I can take my blog further. It struck my mind to revert to you for your honest answers.

As such, I believe that it is appropriate for me to request you to review my blog in these three areas namely its content, quality and frequency. I fully acknowledged and accepted the fact that content is the highlight of the blog. It’s the reason why you visit my blog and why you keep coming back. As such it’s important for me to have consistency in both the quality of my content and the frequency in which I have been posting all this while. In this connection, your honest feedback is solicited on whether some of tips I know and share is attractive enough.

First thing first, please put a rating from 1 to 10 for the following :-

• Did my content create value. Please give the rating 1( very poor) to 10 (excellent)

Perhaps you may just use another fancy way of asking whether my content is amazingly interesting. All of my posts,which have intention to give readers a worthwhile reason for reading. In short, are you getting something back and at the end of day, are you being lifted up as the name suggested. If not, how?

• Frequently posted.

I update my blog on a regular basis to give you reason to come back to my site. The plan is to update my blog at least once or twice a week, having in mind that quality is more important than quantity. This is because I believe that taking a couple of days off between posts can help me write a better post in the long run.

• My content is readable.

I am mindful that writing a blog is much different than writing a book or paper. This is because you, as online readers, have relatively shorter attention spans and more specific needs are preferred. Here, what I am trying to say is that I never pick colors fonts that will strain the visitor’s eyes. If I do, I like to apologise for it.

I also always ensure that my writing is easy to read. I prefer short paragraphs, using lists or bullet points, bolding or underlining important text when it is appropriate for me to do so. Do you agree?
Keeping enough white space in between lines and words is my style. Most of the times, I try to avoid typing up huge walls of text. At times, images and videos are included, where appropriate, to give readers something to look at. Here, I believe prosperity through diversity and always looking at new avenues to improve it further.

At last, but not least, I never felt discouraged when I work hard on a post even though no one pays attention to it. I am aware that growing a blog takes time. No one appreciate it now, does not mean that it will not be appreciated in the future. This is because once I grow, more people will look through my older posts and will see my hard work! Alternatively it will give me a chance to improve it further.

EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF SERVANT LEADERSHIP - OPRAH WINFREY

Very happy day, Everyone.

The news recently that Hollywood's A-list celebrities bid a star-studded farewell to Oprah Winfrey in a double-taping of her talk show that included messages from her fans around the world is worthy of praise and commendation. Have you ever ponder that the lady, without holding any key position, yet command such a high respect from all walk of lives? If you do, then what is her success recipe?

Today, I like to say it was mainly attributable from her servant leadership style. Some of you may wonder why I say so. She has a deep true passion to serve people with unconditional love. She showed love without looking at colour because love is colourless, well recorded in most, if not all true religious teaching.

No surprise to me that she was recently voted as the world the Number 1 most influencial lady. I can feel the love at her show at Chicago's United Center on May 17, 2011 night, which she almost instantly thank them for it. For those who have attended such shows, please step forward to vouch for it. She thanks everyone for being a part of this celebration, which is still gaining momentum even it has been for 25 years. Amazing, right?

One important point to be noted at that function is that 13,000 of her fans, who attended that event gave the talk show host a standing ovation. A respect she truly deserved and earned.

The show was also followed by several meaningful and colourful programmes. Those who already know her well will not dispute that her graceful acts always inspire and touch every heart & soul. She rally can rock the world, she will fight for things she believes in, even if it makes her less popular. Thus, she makes herself distinctly different from other leaders. She had truly build a long lasting legacy which will flourish from time to time.

You can imagine how wonderful and colourful the atmosphere on that night, surrounded by so many great songs such as Mission Impossible, For God, Somewhere Over the Rainbow and Isn't She Lovely, to portray well the lady who uses her gifts to uplift so many hearts, through all of the sacrifices she has made, humility she has and through God's amazing grace.

This well illustrate the point that this long proven and established success recipe is not obsolete, but still relevant in the 21st century and in the future which I strongly believe so.

This truly inspired me and I hope you too are inspired by her. Let us together urge all world leaders to prescribe to her recipe of success, Servant Leadership, to make a world a very much better place to stay. So, let us put her excellent leadership on record for us to adopt and apply. Let us work together to make it a reality. This is nothing impossible if we work together towards it.

ROAD TO BEAUTIFUL ; A JOURNEY OF HOPE DETAILING HIS JOURNEY OF BATTLING THE DISEASE

It is of great pleasure for me to share this book, ROAD TO BEAUTIFUL : A JOURNEY OF HOPE DETAILING HIS JOURNEY OF BATTLING THE DISEASE, if somehow you have missed the news.

This book chronicles a man, none other than Gerard Khaw's battle with cancer. He, a Penangite, survived the ordeal and journalised his journey into this book. He still survives till today despite he was told by doctors five years ago that he only had 10% chance of surviving nose cancer. Subsequently, doctors removed 60% of his liver that had tumours, after the cancer cells spread to his liver there years later.

It was amazingly awesome for him to pursue an off-campus Masters in Business Administration programme from the University of South Australia in 2009 and completed it in March this year while going through cancer treatment. Here, I am very certain that you too like to find out his secret of success.

The author, in his 40s, confessed that he managed to act against all the odds through the grace of God. He too admitted that he received full support from his wife Gloria, his two children Isabelle, 10, Jeanelle, 9, and friends during the launch of his book at Canton Square on last Sunday.

In this connection, I also like to reattest my testimony to glorify God that His grace is sufficient for us to overcome any and every barrier we encountered in our lives so long as we have faith and not to lose hope, as reaffirmed by the above author. This undeniable truth is not anything new and it has been affirmed by the past, current and future witnesses and is well reaffirmed in the Scriptures.

Another good news is that the above book priced at RM 30 will soon be made available in major bookstores nationwide. As such, it is a very well rewarding book to read, very much more than its cost.

THE QUESTION ARISES FROM THE MOVIES OF THE LOST OF BLADESMAN

This morning, I received a revelation from the movie entitled "The Lost of Bladesman" which I watched yesterday after my bible discussion with a group of friends. Kuan Kew is my childhood's hero. I must admit that this man of principle has a great impact on my life despite the fact that I know some people who regarded him as a fool to have died for his guided principle. After I accepted Christ as my Savior, I realized lots of similarity to the warriors of Jesus as recorded in the scripture. All the warriors conquered the fear of death to serve the Mighty God they loved and served.

In this movie, two main contrasting characters, one of Kuan Yew and the other of Cao Cao can be seen. It is still relevant and applicable in today's modern technological era. This story recorded two different approaches taken by both of them to bring peace to the world.

CAO CAO
was a smart manipulator and used all his talents for wrong cause to achieve a "huge success" based on worldly standards. He manipulated every one for his advancement and became a powerful Prime Minister, under a weak emperor of his country. He was the only one, who is permitted to carry a sword in the palace. He was exempted from kneeling and bowing (as a respect to their Majesties in the past) his head to the emperor. However he expected the rest of the officials to abide to the rule of law, but he was above the rule - that annoyed Kuan Kew. All the officials, at that time, feared him, except Kuan Yew, due to his cruelty to do anything to those who disobeys him. But the truth is that he had never gained respect from the Chinese community. His legacy collapsed almost immediately upon his death. You can see this truth still happened in today's modern world. This reaffirmation of the fact that history repeats itself.

It is vividly demonstrated that compelling people to do things out of fear, will never last. This have been well recorded in the history books and reaffirmed in the Scriptures as well. Yet even the smartest Alex will always make the same mistake, from the past to the present and even to the future.

KUAN YEW

on the other hand was a real brave warrior, who fought for brotherhood; loyalty and steadfastness for principles, justice and righteousness. No surprise, that he was well regarded in the Chinese community as a great hero even though he had died in a horrible condition. He was beheaded. However, subsequent to his death, the Chinese community raised him as a saint, who had conquered death and was set free to fight for justice and righteousness. His actions well demonstrated his good cause - "in the name of peace and harmony for his nation" without any hidden agenda.

This movie recorded the hassles he has to go through to exit from Cao Cao's nation and join Liu Pei, a weaker nation which intended to prevent Cao Cao from advancement. He had great foresight and vision that enabled him to see the Cao Cao's nation lack of love. What prove him right is that the mighty nation under Cao Cao did not last long.

His bold action to follow his conscience in serving Liu Pei, rather than Cao Cao, led me to leave behind an excellent legacy that last for more than two thousand years. Till to-date, he is still well respected hero from the people who live two thousand years after him. I believe that such an honour will last over time. This is simply because righteousness always prevails over time. The price he paid for such a honour is a great one too - he died in horrified manner (beheaded); yet people subsequently raised his status as Saint, who chose to fight against the evil force.

Here, I like to draw the analogy between him and Aspotle Paul. Both of them chose to forgo their promising and rewarding career as high ranking officials but press on to pursue for justice and righteousness so to speak - A real and true warrior. Kuan Yew initially served the Prime Minister, Cao Cao. Similarly the Aspotle Paul who was trained by and served the Phraisee before Jesus touched and transformed him and made him overcome his false belief.

When both of them realized their un-reconciled differences with their initial beliefs, they made a U turn, which made them seem like rebellions, a very thin distinction between a hero and a rebel. You can see vividly how irrational for them to do so by foregoing such a promising and rewarding career as high ranking officials at their initial camps. In this connection, please put forward your thought should you come to different conclusion as I did. Thank you in advance for your kind thoughts.

However, there is a difference between both of them. The former seems to have no choice, but continuously fight so as to defend advancement from Cao Cao despite his acknowledgement of the truth that a war will never end the war. Whereas, the latter chose to use Word, against swords or bullets, to bring righteousness to MIGHTY GOD

Conclusion

We can select two different definitions of success from the above story. The worldly success of Cao Cao who used unjustifiable means to achieve temporary nature of success while Kuan Yew's success

is of a permanent nature, but may seem as a failure based on worldly standards. However, the latter’s good legacy will prevail and last but not the former.

Trust the above story give us a clear picture of choice we need to opt for.

LOVE IS A CONQUEROR OF EVERYTHING

One loving couple walking around the park,
they chat happily,
holding hands and waving them as they walk,
they share their thoughts happily from their smiling faces.

One glance you can see vividly that they are in deep love.
The environment at that time was so peaceful that you can only hear their laughing voice,
so loud and sweet,
where both of them cannot hear anything,
as if they are the only ones existing in their small world.
They are so indulge in their conversations that
they can't hear and see anything other than themselves and their voices.
Their relationship is so intimate that even the breeze is jealous.

Out of sudden the breeze decided to attack them,
It blows against them slightly stronger,
yet the couple does not feel anything.
That annoyed the breeze more and decided to increase its magnitude.
Interesting to note that it still don't keep them apart.
Ironically, they decided to stand firmly at their current location.

This is because they begin to feel that moving forward is near impossible.
As they hugged themselves firmly as one.
That really blew the breeze up.
Every time it increase its magnitude,
They response in much stronger proportion than the magnitude of the breeze.

That makes the breeze even annoyed as it fail to set them apart.
When they begin to realize the coolness of the breeze has penetrated into their bodies,
They response to it very positively by hugging each other so tightly as one, so as to keep themselves safe and also not to let the breeze freeze them.

To remain in control over the situation,
They stay focus as one united body.
With one united body, heart and soul,
and their magic hands touch their bodies that sparks the burning flame that
respond naturally, in much greater contrast than the magnitude of the breeze.
With the contrasting result the breeze obtained,
it leaves it no choice, but to give up its hope to fight the losing war.
As a result, the breeze decided to withdraw its attack.

They then realize that they are not frozen as the breeze stop.
They then realize their LOVE is so powerful
that let them conquer the war.

Such an incident makes them recognize the truth that Love
conquer anything and everything.
This is another affirming case of this truth since Day one of mankind's history.
However, it needs to refresh and condition us of this truth.
This is the reason why I blog this short story to this effect.

EMBRACE UNCERTAIN MINDSET

Change is unavoidable, so is uncertainty.
Uncertainty is a permanent part of our lives.
No surprise that we rarely say that we are certain.
Despite some times we are certain.

Life is a choice.
As such, we are consistently called to make decisions,
directly or indirectly, knowingly or unknowingly.
That is reality
yet we are constantly making these decisions with limited intelligence.

It is the truth,
yet most of the times, we refuse to accept it.
We are always naive and do not submit to this truth.
Is it because of our pride ?
or is it of something else.

We can never find the answer,
unless we learn to embrace the fact of not knowing everything.

Even the great leaders lead without knowing it all.
Great leaders do not eliminate uncertainty, but learn to navigate through it.
Great leaders lead despite the shadows of uncertainty.

Great leaders recognize that clarity of vision is more important than certainty of the outcome.
Every day, we are expected to make decisions regarding our business, our relationships, our marketing, our ideas, and our strategies.
These decisions are made even though we don’t always have the answers.

I guess this is life.
If we knew everything that was going to happen, we would not need to experience it.
Without such an experience,
There would be nothing to attain, achieve or acquire.

One thing is certain.
Whether you have been and what you have done in the past.
Where we are going is always new, and most often uncertain.

As such, what is the point of worrying of the future.

MAGNOLIAS..........By Edna Ellison

I spent the week before my daughter's June wedding running last-minute trips to the caterer, florist, tuxedo shop, and the church about forty miles away.

As happy as I was that Patsy was marrying a good Christian young man, I felt laden with responsibilities as I watched my budget dwindle . ...

So many details, so many bills, and so little time. My son Jack was away at college, but he said he would be there to walk his younger sister down the aisle, taking the place of his dad who had died a few years before. He teased Patsy, saying he'd wanted to give her away since she was about three years old!

To save money, I gathered blossoms from several friends who had large magnolia trees. Their luscious, creamy-white blooms and slick green leaves would make beautiful arrangements against the rich dark wood inside the church.

After the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding, we banked the podium area and choir loft with magnolias. As we left just before midnight, I felt tired but satisfied this would be the best wedding any bride had ever had! The music, the ceremony, the reception - and especially the flowers - would be remembered for years.

The big day arrived - the busiest day of my life - and while her bridesmaids helped Patsy to dress, her fiance Tim walked with me to the sanctuary to do a final check. When we opened the door and felt a rush of hot air, I almost fainted; and then I saw them - all the beautiful white flowers were black. Funeral black. An electrical storm during the night had knocked out the air conditioning system, and on that hot summer day, the flowers had wilted and died.

I panicked, knowing I didn't have time to drive back to our hometown, gather more flowers, and return in time for the wedding.

Tim turned to me. 'Edna, can you get more flowers? I'll throw away these dead ones and put fresh flowers in these arrangements.'
I mumbled, 'Sure,' as he be-bopped down the hall to put on his cuff links.

Alone in the large sanctuary, I looked up at the dark wooden beams in the arched ceiling. 'Lord,' I prayed, 'please help me. I don't know anyone in this town. Help me find someone willing to give me flowers - in a hurry!'

I scurried out praying for four things: the blessing of white magnolias, courage to find them in an unfamiliar yard, safety from any dog that may bite my leg, and a nice person who would not get out a shotgun when I asked to cut his tree to shreds.

As I left the church, I saw magnolia trees in the distance.. I approached a house...No dog in sight. I knocked on the door and an older man answered. So far so good. No shotgun.

When I stated my plea the man beamed, 'I'd be happy to!'

He climbed a stepladder and cut large boughs and handed them down to me. Minutes later, as I lifted the last armload into my car trunk, I said, 'Sir, you've made the mother of a bride happy today.'
'No, Ma'am,' he said. 'You don't understand what's happening here.'
'What?' I asked.
'You see, my wife of sixty-seven years died on Monday. On Tuesday I received friends at the funeral home, and on Wednesday. He paused. I saw tears welling up in his eyes. 'On Wednesday I buried her.' He looked away. 'On Thursday most of my out-of-town relatives went back home, and on Friday - yesterday - my children left.'
I nodded.
'This morning,' he continued, 'I was sitting in my den crying out loud. I miss her so much. For the last sixteen years, as her health got worse, she needed me. But now nobody needs me. This morning I cried, 'Who needs an eighty-six-year-old wore-out man? Nobody!' I began to cry louder. 'Nobody needs me!' About that time, you knocked, and said, 'Sir, I need you.'
I stood with my mouth open.
He asked, 'Are you an angel? The way the light shone around your head into my dark living room...'
I assured him I was no angel.
He smiled. 'Do you know what I was thinking when I handed you those magnolias?'
'No.'
'I decided I'm needed. My flowers are needed. Why, I might have a flower ministry! I could give them to everyone! Some caskets at the funeral home have no flowers. People need flowers at times like that and I have lots of them. They're all over the backyard! I can give them to hospitals, churches - all sorts of places. You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to serve the Lord until the day He calls me home!'

I drove back to the church, filled with wonder. On Patsy's wedding day, if anyone had asked me to encourage someone who was hurting, I would have said, 'Forget it! It's my only daughter's wedding, for goodness' sake! There is no way I can minister to anyone today.'

But God found a way. Through dead flowers.

'Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.'

If you have missed knowing me, you have missed nothing. If you have missed some of my emails, you may have missed a laugh. But, if you have missed knowing my LORD and SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, you have missed everything in the world.

The Ant and the Contact Lens: a true story

Brenda was almost halfway to the top of the tremendous granite cliff. She was standing on a ledge where she was taking a breather during this, her first rock climb. As she rested there, the safety rope snapped against her eye and knocked out her contact lens. 'Great', she thought. 'Here I am on a rock ledge, hundreds of feet from the bottom and hundreds of feet to the top of this cliff, and now my sight is blurry.'

She looked and looked, hoping that somehow it had landed on the ledge. But it just wasn't there.

She felt the panic rising in her, so she began praying. She prayed for calm, and she prayed that she may find her contact lens.

When she got to the top, a friend examined her eye and her clothing for the lens, but it was not to be found. Although she was calm now that she was at the top, she was saddened because she could not clearly see across the range of mountains. She thought of the bible verse 'The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth.'

She thought, 'Lord, You can see all these mountains. You know every stone and leaf, and You know exactly where my contact lens is. Please help me.'

Later, when they had hiked down the trail to the bottom of the cliff they met another party of climbers just starting up the face of the cliff. One of them shouted out, 'Hey, you guys! Anybody lose a contact lens?'

Well, that would be startling enough, but you know why the climber saw it? An ant was moving slowly across a twig on the face of the rock, carrying it!

The story doesn't end there. Brenda's father is a cartoonist. When she told him the incredible story of the ant, the prayer, and the contact lens, he drew a cartoon of an ant lugging that contact lens with the caption, 'Lord, I don't know why You want me to carry this thing. I can't eat it, and it's awfully heavy. But if this is what You want me to do, I'll carry it for You.'

I think it would do all of us some good to say, 'God, I don't know why You want me to carry this load. I can see no good in it and it's awfully heavy. But, if You want me to carry it, I will.'

God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called.
Yes, I do love GOD. He is my source of existence and my Savior. He keeps me functioning each and every day Without Him, I am nothing, but with Him... I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. (Phil. 4:13)

While a man was polishing his new car, his 4 yr old son picked up a stone and scratched lines on the side of the car. In anger, the man took the child's hand and hit it many times; not realizing he was using a wrench.

At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures. When the child saw his father.....with painful eyes he asked, 'Dad when will my fingers grow back?'

The man was so hurt and speechless; he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times. Devastated by his own actions ...sitting in front of that car he looked at the scratches; the child had written 'LOVE YOU DAD'.

The next day that man committed suicide. . .. Anger and Love have no limits; choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely life..... Things are to be used and people are to be loved, But the problem in today's world is that people are used and things are loved...

Be sure to keep this thought in mind: Things are to be used, but People are to be loved ... Be yourself....This is the only day we HAVE. Have a nice day

REAL STORY - STOP TELLING GOD HOW BIG IS YOUR PROBLEM

In Phoenix, Arizona, a 26-year-old mother stared down at her 6 year old son, who was dying of terminal leukaemia. Although her heart was filled with sadness, she also had a strong feeling of determination. Like any parent, she wanted her son to grow up and fulfil all his dreams. Now that was no longer possible..

The leukaemia would see to that. But she still wanted her son's dreams to come true. She took her son's hand and asked, "Billy, did you ever think about what you wanted to be once you grew up? Did you ever dream and wish what you would do with your life?"

"Mommy, I always wanted to be a fireman when I grew up."

Mom smiled back and said, "Let's see if we can to make your wish come true." Later that day she went to her local fire department in Phoenix, Arizona, where she met Fireman Bob, who had a heart as big as Phoenix. She explained her son's final wish and asked if it might be possible to give her six-year-old son a ride around the block on a fire engine.

Fireman Bob said, "Look, we can do better than that. If you'll have your son ready at seven o'clock Wednesday morning, we'll make him an honorary fireman for the whole day. He can come down to the fire station, eat with us, go out on all the fire calls, the whole nine yards! And if you'll give us, his sizes, we'll get a real fire uniform for him, with a real fire hat-not a toy one-with the emblem of the Phoenix Fire Department on it, a yellow slicker like we wear and rubber boots. They're all manufactured right here in Phoenix, so we can get them fast."

Three days later Fireman Bob picked up Billy, dressed him in his fire uniform and escorted him from his hospital bed to the waiting hook and ladder truck.

Billy got to sit on the back of the truck and help steer it back to the fire station. He was in heaven.There were three fire calls in Phoenix that day and Billy got to go out on all three calls. He rode in the different fire engines, the paramedic's van, and even the fire chief's car.He was also videotaped for the local news program.

Having his dream come true, with all the love and attention that was lavished upon him, so deeply touched Billy that he lived three months longer than any doctor thought possible. One night all of his vital signs began to drop dramatically and the head nurse, who believed in the hospice concept that no one should die alone, began to call the family members to the hospital.

Then she remembered the day Billy had spent as a fireman, so she called the Fire Chief and asked if it would be possible to send a fireman in uniform to the hospital to be with Billy as he made his transition.

The chief replied, "We can do better than that. We'll be there in five minutes. Will you please do me a favour? When you hear the sirens screaming and see the lights flashing, will you announce over the PA system that there is not a fire? It's just the fire department coming to see one of its finest members one more time. And will you open the window to his room?"

About five minutes later a hook and ladder truck arrived at the hospital and extended its ladder up to Billy's third floor open window. 16 fire-fighters climbed up the ladder into Billy's room. With his mother's permission, they hugged him and held him and told him how much they loved him.

With his dying breath, Billy looked up at the fire chief and said, "Chief, am I really a fireman now?"

"Billy, you are, and the Head Chief, Jesus, is holding your hand," the chief said.

With those words, Billy smiled and said, "I know, He's been holding my hand all day, and the angels have been singing.." He closed his eyes one last time.

This story is powerful and there is nothing attached, please do not break this pattern; uplifting stories are one of the best gifts we receive. There is no cost but a lot of rewards, let's continue to uplift one another.

In times of difficulties, I don't tell God that I have problems.

It is not because, I am super duper capable,

Instead I should be graceful that I have God.

195-YEAR-OLD, YET RELEVANT AND USEFUL

Hi Everyone,

This 195 year-old building is none other than St. George's Church, in Farquhar Street, Penang. It is also the oldest Anglican Church in South-East Asia, built in 1816.
Some of you may recall my preceding article on this church, which was under renovation at that time. Just click at the title of this article to bring you there, if you choose to do so.

As promised much earlier, I shall update you of the progress. In this connection, I am pleased to inform you that the church had weathered all storms, still stand proudly there to serve its visitors. Last Sunday, Feb 27 saw its first service at the reopening of the Church to its congregation, another milestone of its long history after 10 good months' rest for the restoration project of RM 1.8 million under the National Heritage Department's Ninth Malaysia Plan allocation which began in April last year. This blessing came in as the result of the church being declared as one of the country's 50 National Heritage treasures in 2007.

With this, it not only offers comforts to its congregation during their services and other church functions, but now, its night view will be equally bright and grand as the colonial style State's Council Administration Office, not a far distance from its location, when the church is lighted up from 7:30 pm to 10 pm every night. This exercise not only restores its former glory, but also restores the estate's glory as well. The spirit of cooperation should make all Malaysians proud, as their efforts have paid off within a short span of time. Well done and thanks to all parties that were involved.

This remarkable building also taught me important lessons. First it serves as a reminder to take time to equip myself with knowledge and skills. I should do it, so long as I can last and stay relevant to serve, regardless of my age, exactly like nearly two centuries old, yet relevant and useful. This vision become clearer to me as I aged, in line with the slogan we are built to last. HE HAD ANSWERED YOUR PRAYERS AGAIN

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Here, I write to put it on record on how I was being used by him again to reach out and touch others, so as to let His glory shine through me.

This happened on 23 January 2011, Sunday. I was a day without much sunshine, my wife first thought is to go to the renowned Pavilon Shopping Mall in Kuala Lumpur to do her last minute shopping for the coming Chinese New Year. She brought my daughter along with her and she bought a few dresses of her liking and taste. Both of them were happier and decided to reward themselves, as a result of having a fruitful day, with some local desserts at the hawker center before returning home.

Upon arrival at home, she went to her room to store her dresses. She was in tears upon realizing that she didn't bring back her dresses even though she has checked other bags. I sensed something amiss and I got to know the actual outcome upon investigation. I then proceeded to calm her down and persuaded her to try harder to recall where she left her dresses. She then locked herself in the room and did so.

After a while, she came out from her room and approached me for a favour. She gentlely requested me to take her back to the mall as she managed to recall where she left her dresses. We then embarked on our journey to the mall hoping to get back her stuff. In the car, I then asked her not to be so sad if she couldn't get back her stuff, as I viewed that we have a small chance to recover back those stuff. As last, I make a point clearly to her that I can only bring her there but the rest I have to leave to the Lord. I then asked her to pray to the one above because He is the only one who can assist her to get back her dresses, which she obeyed.

Upon arrival at the hawker center, my wife began to approach some of the staff there and they told her to check with the information centre, which my wife disagreed and insisted to try that for the last attempt. She saw a cleaning staff clearing the table, where both my wife and daughter had their dessert much earlier. To their amazement, they found the stuff from the plastic bag that was handled to them by that particular staff. We immediate thanked him.

On the way back home, I then asked my daughter to thank God for His blessing. Again, I also thank Him for making use of me to touch my daughter again. You may click at the link below:-

I will continue to pray to Him, like the beginning of the year, to make use of me as His vessel to reach and touch others, when I shared my testimony with about 30 people at the Navigator's office at Mayang Jaya , January 16 2011. As such, I am very glad that many of you have prayed for me ,that make Him answer our prayers again.

ANOTHER MIRACLE

Happy day, Everyone.

I write to share with you another miracle that happened to me in the beginning of the year.

At the end of last year, the meter assembly of my car suddenly went off. As a result, I was driving the car without fuel and speedometer indications for more than a month. That incident turned out to be another miracle/blessing.

One morning on the way to my client's office, I realized the meter of my car went off suddenly without any prior warning. The first thought that struck my mind was that it was a wiring issue, I sent it to the nearest accessory shop in the hope that they can get it fixed. After spending nearly an hour of checking through the wiring, they appeared to have fix the issue. However, the issue came back in the following day.

Consequently, I have no other alternative, but to send it to the other accessory shop, which installed the mobile stabilizer, hopefully they may fix the issue. After they have thoroughly scrutinized and tested with the appropriate appliances, they could not fix the issue. The issue persisted despite I sending it for the second time. I was told that the meter was faulty.

Of course I am not satisfied with its finding and decided to send back my car to the first accessory shop for the second opinion. This time, they suggested that the mobile stabilizer be removed, which I agreed to. However, the issue persisted despite all the above actions have been done.

Finally, I decided to send it to the authorized service dealer to do the final checking of the wiring. They found nothing wrong with the wiring and reaffirmed the faulty meter assembly and suggested that I replaced it. I found the new part too costly (more than two thousands) and my car is already 8 years old.

Therefore, I decided to source for used part, which costs less than 30 percent of its new part price, the idea which was proposed by the first accessory shop.

I called up numerous used parts dealers and were told that they need time to source for it. I patiently waited and God's grace again ease my unnecessary worries. I continued praying for His guidance and protection while driving this car. I was clueless, in the sense that I did not know its speed and fuel indication, even when it is in running mode. My effort did not end in vain. John : Pray and you shall be answered

My patience and continuous focus on Him eventually beared fruit. I must admit that that I did not feel any uneasiness throughout this period. I know from my heart that He is guiding me and His grace is comforting me. Praise the Lord.

Day in and day out, I persistently prayed to Him for a miracle to happen again. Until one evening, there was a heavy down pour and as usual, certain areas were flooded. The journey from my client's office to my home was a crawl and my car was like bumper to bumper inching forward slowly throughout certain parts of the journey. At the time of need, another miracle happened and the faulty meter, as the mechanics verified, function back to normal again. I immediately thank Him again from my heart, believing that He is the One who makes it again, as Praise the Lord. Since then, the meter functioned as usual again till the time of writing.

Thereafter one evening, while sending my three kids to their English tuition center as usual, my daughter noticed and asked me where did I repair it. My answer to her is God is the one who fix it. She stared at me and told me not to be kidding. After my explanation, she eventually believe in it. I am deeply glad that God again used me as one of His vessels to touch my kids.

Thank God for this wonderful experience and His blessing.

MY TESTIMONY

Happy day! Everyone,

First of all I would like to introduce myself. My name is James Oh. I have been married 18 wonderful years. I have 3 BEAUTIFUL children that God so richly blessed me with.

I thank God for being able to step forward to share my testimonies with you on how He touched and transformed me as in 2 Corinthians 4:17 therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. For those who have known me for many years, would know that I was not such a person, who would voluntarily step forward to share my experiences publicly. I was a shy person who chose to put my best on the surface. To-date I am able to do so differently, mainly attributed to God's grace alone. As a result, I do not feel any pain for doing so. I shall take every opportunity to share my Christian walk so freely with anyone so long as I can glorify Him, and not me. Praise The Lord.

I firmly believe that I am given a chance to share my testimony here is no coincidence, but there is a purpose for me to do so in God's perspective. You may wonder why I refuse to use the word "coincidence" because I feel this word will insult and undermine God's power. Again, I also like to reiterate that I met this Mighty, Loving and Living God not through coincidence, but rather because of His promise to those who seek Him will find Him , as in Matthew 7:7 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

In this context, I like to share some of my experience with you. Some of you may have heard before that I lost my second child more than a decade ago, some of you may also recall my emotion when I shared this painful incident before I accepted Christ.

I was the key witness of this incident and clearly recall every significant process and its timing that took place at that night. They have delayed numerous processes and ignore my advice that eventually caused my child to die in a short span of time prior to the delivery. No one knows the exact time of delay, the gynaecologist's report is different from the report of the expert's opinion. I was not satisfied with their in house panel inquiry as they conducted it without my presence. I am very sure that they concealed the truth from me after they discovered that I have received numerous written replies that were not in their favour. Eventually, I decided to engage a lawyer to pursue further. That is my first time engaging a lawyer to sue the well established private hospital and gyneacologist, believing that I can obtain justice for my son. During that period, I felt so frustrated and helpless.

Moreover my file was lost numerous times at the court. The lawyer I had engaged did not cooperate with me and at times I had to give specific instructions such as to reconstruct my file, rather than refile as he initially proposed. I guess you are able to imagine what sort of life I had gone through nearly a decade to get my case heard. I wonder whether is there any justice in line with the the slogan that "Justice delayed is Justice denied". Who could imagine how sorrow in my heart. It was far beyond words.

At the hearing, I had even completed my law degree and my appointed lawyer had withdrawn himself from representing my wife for this case one day prior to the hearing. My guilt made me feel so meaningless and useless. Ultimately, I began to seek for Almighty and Living God so as to fulfill my much earlier promise while I pursued my law degree.

Perhaps you could be able to imagine a person's feeling especially that of the person who persuade his Mrs to go that particular hospital in view of its modern facilities. Wouldn't that strike your mind as a person judging based on the cover. With such an unfortunate event as my initial thought, it is abnormal and unnatural for me to accept such a consequence. As a result, it heats up my emotion. Couple with my Mrs ' blame of me, how could I take the matter lightly with the view that I have a very strong case against the hospital. However, all this is in vain is our natural view. However, I realized that it is a real blessing as it led me to find this Mighty and Loving God.

I thank God for making me understand the true meaning of grace. Through this incident, He revealed to me His feeling when His Begotten Son died on the cross to redeem our sins. Being Mighty and Living God really knows my heart and turn this incident to be a blessing instead. As the Sovereign God, who has every means and power to rescue His son from being executed on the cross, yet He chose otherwise. This point has been clearly demonstrated to me than He is so graceful that received my highest respect and recognition. He is a Sovereign God who keeps every word of His. Here, He chose not to kill the prosecutor, who prosecute His son, which He has the power to do so.

At the same time, He also demonstrated to me the significant key point of the bible that He loves everyone as He advocates in the Scripture - love your neigbour in Luke 10:27. The standard is far exceedingly Confucius standard of "Do to others as you want others do to you."

As a result, it caused me to withdraw the case and leave it to Him solely, despite having pursued it for nearly a decade. Since then, He has taken this burden from my shoulder and I feel so much relief and He had set me free from this incident, as advocated in John 8:32 "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Now, I can share this incident with anyone so freely and calmly. It does not cause any pain to me. Thank God for helping me ease my pain even though I had not fulfilled my promise to my son.

As I pursue my christian walk further, I discovered that He is the only real security I can hold on. Why do I say so? This is because I can still recall clearly during the peak of my career, I felt very stressful and under lots of pressure to deliver and perform. Frequently I have sleepless night and loaded with all sorts of worries and felt so insecure. I tend to work very hard and stretch myself to the maximum, yet my heart was not peaceful at all. I felt like chasing after my shadow.

God also has numerous times delivered me overseas assignments when I was desperately in need of a job, so as to answer my family and friends' prayers. However, I came back when my family members were in need of my presence. Now, I am working as a freelance accountant. Although my situation is not better than before, however I have the peace and have good sleep most of the nights. I find myself much healthier and more energetic despite my age is catching up. To be frank to you, I must say that all these come from Him. The more I cling on to Him, I feel much stronger and secure, contradicting my initial belief prior to accepting Christ that only the weak ones rely on God. I also realized that the more I submitted to Him voluntarily the more I acknowledge that I am not alone. He is the sovereign God who keeps His promises and He shall not abandon any of us.

Our Sovereign Lord also reveal to me that faith also function like our muscles. The more you exercise, your muscle will get stronger. Similarly, the boat anchored at the port is much safer than at sea, however it is not created for its intended purpose. Through the book of Job, He has demonstrated this crucial point very clearly to me as how Job get his strength through Christ when Job lost almost everything he had at one time. This crucial point of the true security has numerous times repeated from the old testament till new testament. Jesus Christ even had to remind Apostle Peter to focus on Him rather than the circumstances when both were walking on the sea in Matthew 14 : 28 -33.

My prayer and mission for the year 2011 is to know Him and to make Him known. By His grace, my life will be fruitful and His glory will revealed through me.

Hope you too have the same experience as mines and to enjoy the fruitfulness as we commit our lives to Him this year as concluded in James 1: 2-4. "My brether, count it all joy when fall into various trails, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing."
